The unwanted Juve player has
been on the brink of a summer exit from Turin
and he will now find himself plying his trade at the Artmio Franchi.
A statement on the club’s official website confirms: "Fiorentina would like to communicate the temporary purchase, with the right to a co-ownership deal, of Sergio Almiron who arrives from Juventus.
"The agreement between the clubs was reached today, Almiron will play on a free, season long loan, and Fioretina have the option to buy his half once the loan expires."
Almiron is the club’s latest arrival as they continue to strengthen ahead of the coming season.
The player passed a medical this morning and he is expected to be revealed this afternoon at Fiorentina’s pre-season retreat in San Piero A Seve.
Almiron never really set the world alight in Turin and he will be hoping that fortune is kind to him in Florence.
The club wasted no time in swooping for the former Empoli man and he is more than likely to be taken on a co-ownership deal if he impresses.
Juve were reluctant to sell the player out right and both clubs preferred to go for the easier loan option.
