Mutu Will Stay A Viola Player - Fiorentina
Fiorentina have announced on their official website that they will not be selling Adrian Mutu to Roma after coach Cesare Prandelli insisted on keeping the player in Florence.

However, after a day in which some expected the player's transfer to materialise, Fiorentina have surprised everyone by issuing an official statement on their website in which they reassure the fans he will not be sold.
"President of ACF Fiorentina Andrea Della Valle communicates that, referring to the offer made by AS Roma, Adrian Mutu is and will remain a Fiorentina player," it says on acffiorentina.it.
It seems that the reason for this twist is the will of coach Cesare Prandelli, who wants to keep the player in Florence at all costs. Prandelli told the player this himself during a long talk held today at Orzinuovo.
It's a well known fact that Mutu is a crucial player for Prandelli's squad, and the two have also worked together before at Parma so they know each other very well.
