The striker is currently involved
in a co-ownership deal between both Serie A clubs and the agent has revealed that
an Italian side are after his client.
However, Waigo will not be going anywhere unless Fiorentina and Genoa reach a deal to sell both of their shares in the player.
“The situation is clear, Fiorentina are looking to sell him but if he stays then there wouldn’t be a problem either way,” Pastorello told Viola News.
“The only concrete offer which has arrived doesn’t satisfy the Viola as he was wanted on a loan deal.
“A Serie A team is after him but it isn’t Napooli. Fiorentina and Genoa have an agreement between each other to sell their rights of the player together.
“It would also be ideal for us if we could find the right solution for the striker so that he could player regularly.”
The arrival of Alberto Gilardino and the decision from Adrian Mutu to stay on at Fiorentina are likely to push Waigo even further away from getting a regular place in Cesare Prandelli’s squad.
