The playmaker has left Atletico Mineiro, and a move to the A-League could be an option for the former Brazil star.
Ronaldinho could be the next high-profile name to join the A-League, according to agent Lou Sticca, who helped bring Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero to Australia.
The 34-year-old left Atletico Mineiro earlier this week and Sticca indicated there will be plenty of interest from the A-League in the former Barcelona and AC Milan attacker.MORE: Full Goal 50 list | Beautiful people in Brazil
"Some calls have already been made and now it's up to A-League clubs to make a play for him," he told Fox Sports. "Anything's possible and he's exactly the sort we should be bringing here. Australia would be a new frontier for him. He'd love the lifestyle and the way fans would respect him. Ronaldinho's globally recognizable and an entertainer."
Melbourne City is reportedly in the race for Ronaldinho's signature after previously securing the services of David Villa on loan, while Sydney FC has also been eyeing a new marquee name after the recent departure of Del Piero.
