Xherdan Shaqiri not considering Bayern Munich exit

The Switzerland international has dismissed rumors that he has set his sights on a move away from the Champions League holders.
Xherdan Shaqiri says he is happy with life at Bayern Munich and has no intention of leaving anytime soon.

The Switzerland international's brother — and agent — Erdin said last week that the winger would be open to a summer transfer if a club like Manchester United, Liverpool or Inter came calling, fueling speculation that Shaqiri is on his way out.

Nevertheless, the 22-year-old has now made it clear that a transfer is not on his mind for now.

"I never said that I want to leave Bayern Munich," Shaqiri told Sport1. "I am feeling very well here and I am not thinking about leaving. My brother just gave his opinion, although he was also slightly misquoted. Of course, if a major club were to make a move, you consider it. Any player would do the same."

Shaqiri has a contract with Bayern until the summer of 2016.
