The Red Devils boss has insisted that Juan Mata will be the only arrival at Old Trafford in the January transfer window, while Marouane Fellaini is close to a return to actionManchester United boss David Moyes has suggested that the club will not make any further signings in the January transfer window.
The Red Devils sealed the club-record signing of Juan Mata on Saturday, with Moyes insisting that more would follow the Spain playmaker through the door as he looks to rebuild his squad at Old Trafford.
Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos had been linked with a deadline-day switch to the Premier League champions, while Goal exclusively revealed on Thursday that the club had lodged a 12.3 million pound bid for Porto center back Nicolas Otamendi.
Moyes, however, is remaining tight-lipped on any potential deals and suggested that United had finished its January business. He told reporters: "You can stand down your TV cameras at the gates. I don't think they'll be required. We've done our business.
"I'm not disappointed we only got one in. I said at the start we wouldn't do much. Juan has been everything I thought.
"We have a few young players who'll go on loan before the window closes. We hope they get experience and become better for it."
Moyes also revealed that midfielder Marouane Fellaini is close to a return to first-team action and that he believed Cardiff City was the ideal choice for winger Wilfried Zaha, who joined the Bluebirds on loan earlier on deadline day.
"Felli's on the fringes. We need to get him match practice but he's very close," the United manager added.
"There were a few clubs interested [in Zaha] but we felt Cardiff was the right choice for him. The boy needs to keep his development going. If he can get games at Cardiff, we'll see exactly where he is."
