Malaga attacker Isco has played coy on links suggesting he will join Real Madrid this summer.
The Spain international, who on Thursday was named in the Under-21 squad for June's European Championship final, is also a target for Manchester City, the club which current Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini is expected to join.
However, the Santiago Bernabeu side remain in poll position to snap up the highly rated 21-year-old, whose current contract at La Rosaleda runs until 2016.
When asked by Spanish television channel Cuatro about the Madrid interest, he said: "We’ll see, let’s see what happens..."
Blancos director Francisco Aguilar revealed on Thursday that a transfer deal for Isco is a long way from completion and is aware that meeting his 35 million euro buy-out clause will be mandatory.
