Beppe Marotta admits that the Manchester City star would be easier to sign than compatriot Gonzalo Higuain due to the fact that the 29-year-old's contract expires next summer
The Argentine forward has scored 11 goals in 33 Premier league games this season but has been strongly linked with a move away amidst serious interest from clubs worldwide, with ambitious French side Monaco currently chasing the striker's signature.
Marotta heavily insinuated that a move for the Argentine could be imminent as he admitted that Tevez would be easier to buy than compatriot and Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain due to the former's soon-to-be expired contract.
"Tevez or Higuain? It could be easier to buy Tevez, only for the reason that Carlitos has only one year left of his contract," he told Sky Sports 24.
"We haven't talked with City, but sometimes we talk with agents of players. For the next season we want to reinforce our offensive line."
