The 26-year-old has been unable to live up to the high expectations at the Serie A champions since his return to the club from Parma last summer, but his representative has stressed that his client still has a role to play in Turin.
"Giovinco is still part of Conte's plans. He has been involved in 17 goals in the league and cup in a season where all attackers have been part of a rotation system, while he's also been injured," he told SportItalia.
"I'd say that he has done a fine job. Sebastian has unique characteristics. A team that wants to compete in three competitions needs quality across the board and plenty of alternatives."
The attacker has a contract with Juventus until the summer of 2015.
