thumbnail Hello,

Colorado has signed young Chilean winger Kevin Harbottle.

The Colorado Rapids have been busy leading into the 2013 MLS SuperDraft.

On Wednesday the club traded midfielder Jeff Larentowicz to Toronto FC in exchange for allocation money, and international roster spot and a move up in the draft. On Thursday the club announced the signing of Chilean winger Kevin Harbottle.

“Kevin is a young, dynamic attacking player who will be a great fit for our squad this season,” said Rapids Technical Director Paul Bravo in a team statement. “At just 22 years old, he’s already proven he can play at a high level, and we look forward to helping him develop further as he integrates into our team and our league.”

Harbottle moves to Chicago from the top flight in his native country, having also represented Chilie on both the youth and full international levels.
