Stoke City defensive midfielder Maurice Edu has completed a loan move to Turkish outfit Bursaspor.
Edu has found himself out of favor at the Britannia Stadium, making just one appearance for the Potters since joining from Rangers in August.
The USA international, who has 42 caps for the national team, is desperate first-team football and is optimistic about rediscovering his form after such limited match action.
"I'm really glad to be here," he told reporters. "I wasn't at my best form at Stoke City. I have friends who played here before and they all told me good things about Bursaspor. I've also spoken with Jozy Altidore before i came here.
"I know how Bursaspor fans are. I was very surprised with the presence of Bursaspor fans in Scotland back when we'd played against them in the Champions League. Bursaspor and their fans are exciting."
