Nene leaves Paris Saint-Germain for Al Gharafa

The playmaker has left Les Parisiens after finding first-team opportunities hard to come by following the arrival of a number of high-profile players in the French capital.
Nene has completed his move from Paris Saint-Germain to Qatari club Al Gharafa on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

The former Monaco attacker has been out of favor for much of the season, despite scoring 21 goals in Ligue 1 in 2011-12, and he has been linked with a number of clubs after previously revealing his desire to depart the capital club.

Al Gharafa's general secretary Jassem Al-Mansouri revealed the deal had been concluded and the length of the contract, though he did not disclose the former Brazil Under-23 international's salary. AFP is reporting that the 31-year-old will earn around 4.5 million euros a year.
