M'Bia claims QPR move is nearly complete following months of speculation

The Cameroon international has confirmed that he is close to leaving Marseille for Loftus Road, after a summer of uncertainty surrounding his future at the club

Stephane M'Bia says he is close to completing a move to QPR from Olympique de Marseille.

The versatile 26-year-old, who can play as a center back or defensive midfielder, has been linked with the ambitious west Londoners for some time.

And the Cameroon international has now moved to confirm the rumors, and he could even join up with his new teammates on Thursday.

"It's almost done," he said, while signing autographs after a training session for L'OM.

M'Bia, who has 36 international caps, began his career at Cameroon side Kadji Sports Academy, before moving to Rennes and later Marseille.
