The Serie A giant has publicly admitted that the club is looking to re-sign the Brazilian playmaker, who is a crowd favorite at San Siro following his six-year spell at the club.
Italian sources claimed at the weekend that a Milan delegation will fly to the United States to continue negotiations with Madrid regarding Kaka, and Galliani has now admitted that he is poised to meet with Los Blancos' supremo.
"I will speak with Florentino Perez in New York," Galliani told Sky Sport Italia. "It will be very hard for us to sign Kaka because of his high wages, but he is a player who is part of our history."
Last month, Galliani admitted that his side may fail in its efforts to sign Kaka as the team is unable to match the Brazilian's salary at the Santiago Bernabeu.
It is also believed that Madrid is holding out for a permanent transfer of Kaka, while Milan prefers to sign the 30-year-old on loan.
