The Mexican forward could find his way to the Football League Championship if Owen Coyle and his team produce a deal.
Esto has revealed that Coyle is looking to sign Dos Santos, who has longed for a move away from White Hart Lane after now several seasons of riding the pine.
However, the move might be hindered by Tottenham's change in management, as Harry Redknapp is no longer at Spurs and the team searches for a new boss.
Vicente Montes, Giovani dos Santos' legal counsel, confirmed the possible stay.
"When we do [meet with them], we will consider all solutions with Tottenham," said Montes.
A previous deal this summer that would have sent Giovani to Spain's Villarreal was nixed when the team was relegated from La Liga.
Dos Santos will represent Mexico at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London as part of the 18-man team that will look to make history, as the Mexicans have yet to notch an Olympic medal in the sport.
