Stramaccioni: Lucas and Lavezzi would fit in well at Inter

The Nerazzurri coach has admitted that he would like to add the creative duo to his roster this summer as he believes they could "really transform the team"

Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni is eager to add some fresh blood to his squad in the summer transfer window, and has earmarked Napoli star Ezequiel Lavezzi and Sao Paulo youngster Lucas as the perfect signings ahead of the 2012-13 campaign.

"Lavezzi and Lucas are two players who would really transform the team. They would both fit in very well at Inter," Stramaccioni was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.

The young coach feels that the Argentina international has already shown that he can make the difference at an elite level, and hailed the Brazilian midfield starlet as one of the brightest prospects in the game today.

"Lucas is one of the biggest emerging talents in world football. Julio Cesar, Maicon and Lucio all speak very well of him," Stramaccioni stated.

He added, "Lavezzi has shown this season that he can make the difference, at club and at international level. I see the Argentine as a support striker, while Lucas could start from the wings. They could play together, in my opinion."

The 27-year-old Lavezzi has a contract with Napoli until June 2015, but reportedly has a 31 million euros buyout clause.

Lucas, 19, has an agreement with Sao Paulo until December 2015.
