thumbnail Hello,

The club official is confident that the Brazilian will not leave Rio de Janeiro in the summer and insisted that the 32-year-old will see out his current deal

Flamengo director Paulo Cesar Coutinho has claimed that Ronaldinho is not thinking about leaving the team.

"Even if Ronaldinho was not brilliant against Vasco da Gama, you could tell that he made the difference," Coutinho is quoted by Lancenet as saying. "He made some good passes and he was one of the best players in the game."

The Brazil international has been criticized by the club's fans after a series of disappointing performances since the start of the season.

Ronaldinho could reportedly leave Flamengo if the club exit the Copa Libertadores, and the former Barcelona start admitted recently that if he leaves the club, he would like to do it through the front door.

"I am sure that he did not make such comments because he is leaving. Besides, he intends to see out his contract, which expires in 2014."

Flamengo is at the foot of their Copa Libertadores group, with five points from as many matches, ahead of the last game against leaders Lanus.
