AC Milan confirms signing of Chelsea forward Philipp Prosenik
The Blues youngster had three years in England but injuries prevented him from breaking into the first team and he has been given another chance by the Italian side.
AC Milan has snapped up Chelsea youngster Philipp Prosenik for an undisclosed fee, the Italian giants have confirmed on their official website.
The 18-year-old Austrian has caught the eye of many since signing for the Blues in 2009 from Rapid Vienna and Milan, along with Juventus and Bayern Munich, wanted the striker before he signed for the Premier League outfit.
Opting to stay at Chelsea’s academy when it emerged the Serie A side was after him. Prosenik’s progress in England was halted by lengthy injuries that kept him on the sidelines for long periods, but now has another chance to demonstrate his potential in Italy.
The young striker will begin his Milan career in the youth ranks, but many at the club believe he will have a bright future at the San Siro.
