Agent: Tim Ream hasn't officially joined Bolton yet

The New York Red Bulls defender continues to be linked with a move to Owen Coyle's side. His agent told that he hopes for a positive resolution shortly.
While Tim Ream remains one of Bolton's top transfer targets, his move to Owen Coyle's team isn't finalized yet.

Sources have told that the 24-year-old center back will join Bolton if Gary Cahill departs the Premier League side. Ream's agent Patrick McCabe confirmed to that the deal is still a work in progress.

"Ream deal is not yet complete," he said. "We expect a resolution shortly."

While Bolton has agreed to sell Cahill to Chelsea, the England international's move to Stamford Bridge has stalled due to contract issues. The central defender wants a 100,000 pounds a week and large signing bonus reported to be around 4 million pounds.

Bolton currently sits just inside the relegation zone in 18th place with 16 points. If Ream joins the club, the move is expected to be around 3 million pounds.
