The agent of Lucho Gonzalez has admitted that his client is becoming increasingly frustrated by his current lack of game time at Marseille and wants his future resolved in the coming weeks one way or another.
"I can tell you that Lucho is not dealing with the situation very well,” agent Federico Simonian told Goal.com.
The Argentine has been consigned to the role of bench-warmer in recent weeks and is now hoping that he will either be allowed to leave during the January transfer window or be guaranteed more playing time by coach Didier Deschamps.
“He is no longer a starter and that’s undervaluing the player. As a result, it’s lowering the market value of the player," Simonian said.
"We still hope that a move will materialize but the reality of the transfer market is difficult. If an offer comes in, we will of course study it.
“[But] Lucho is a great professional and he would have no problem staying with Marseille.”
Lucho has netted just two goals in Ligue 1 so far this season.
