Italy international Fabio Quagliarella could be set to depart Juventus in the winter transfer window as Roma have shown an interest in signing the forward, Il Corriere dello Sport reports.

The Giallorossi are in the market for attacking reinforcements due to Pablo Osvaldo's injury and the recent departure of Marco Borriello, and they reportedly see Quagliarella as the perfect addition.

Quagliarella has been struggling to secure regular first-team football at Juventus this term, and could therefore opt to move on in order to relaunch his career elsewhere.

The versatile attacker has a contract with the Turin giants until the summer of 2014, but Juventus could decide to cash in on the 28-year-old if a good offer comes in.

Quagliarella previously wore the jerseys of clubs such as Torino, Udinese, Ascoli, Sampdoria and Napoli.
