Experienced striker Amauri appears to be one step closer to leaving Juventus in the winter transfer window as Fiorentina has shown a concrete interest in signing the former Parma and Palermo attacker, Tuttosport reports.
The 31-year-old stated last week that he would be interested in moving to the Viola in January, and Fiorentina is keen to add the forward to their squad as well as they are looking for a replacement for Genoa-bound Alberto Gilardino.
Fiorentina is allegedly ready to meet Amauri's wage demands, but both parties have yet to agree on the contract length.
The striker has set his sights on a two-and-a-half year deal until 2014, but Fiorentina prefer a contract until 2013 instead.
Amauri's current deal with Juventus expires at the end of the season, but the Turin side are happy to part company with the striker this winter.
