Karim el Atmani, who represents Inter's Luc Castaignos together with Arie Treffers, has admitted that there is plenty of interest in the young attacker, but added that he is unlikely to leave the Nerazzurri this winter.

A number of recent reports suggested that Inter is ready to farm the 19-year-old out on loan to another Serie A club, with Bologna, Parma, Siena, Cesena and Novara all keeping tabs on Castaignos.

However, the player's representative has now made it clear that the Giuseppe Meazza side do not want to ship out the striker in the January transfer window.

"It is true that several clubs have shown an interest in signing him on loan in January," El Atmani said to Algemeen Dagblad.

"However, Inter do not want to loan out Luc this winter as they see him as a valuable first-team member. Additionally, Luc himself isn't interested in leaving the club either and wants to prove his worth."

Castaignos joined Inter from Feyenoord in the summer of 2011 and has since scored once in four Serie A appearances.
