The Italian side has resumed its pursuit of the Mali international, and is allegedly using the Swede as a factor in negotiations with his former Camp Nou teammateAC Milan is interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be the key to sealing the move, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The Serie A giants were linked with the Mali international in August, and have allegedly rekindled interest in the player, who is seen as a potential replacement for the ageing Mark van Bommel and Massimo Ambrosini.
Keita and Ibrahimovic became close friends during the Swede's one-year stay at Barcelona in 2009-10, and the striker is said to be pressuring his former teammate into a move.
Even if Keita switches clubs, he is not expected to complete a deal in January. Liverpool recently was said to be interested in his services, but the player confirmed that he would not consider a move before the summer. His contract expires in 2014.
