The Italian side has resumed its pursuit of the Mali international, and is allegedly using the Swede as a factor in negotiations with his former Camp Nou teammate
The Serie A giants were linked with the Mali international in August, and have allegedly rekindled interest in the player, who is seen as a potential replacement for the ageing Mark van Bommel and Massimo Ambrosini.
Keita and Ibrahimovic became close friends during the Swede's one-year stay at Barcelona in 2009-10, and the striker is said to be pressuring his former teammate into a move.
Even if Keita switches clubs, he is not expected to complete a deal in January. Liverpool recently was said to be interested in his services, but the player confirmed that he would not consider a move before the summer. His contract expires in 2014.
