Yann M'Vila could be on his way out of Stade Rennais in the near future as Barcelona is closely monitoring the progress of the France midfielder, Cadena Cope reports.

The Blaugrana are keeping tabs on a number of young players with an eye on the future, and it is believed that the 21-year-old M'Vila is one of the top names on their wishlist.

M'Vila is a product of the Rennes youth academy and has made over 100 official appearances since making his first-team debut in 2009-10.

The holding midfielder, who has already been capped for France at senior level, has previously been linked with clubs such as Arsenal, Inter and Real Madrid.

His current contract with Rennes runs until the summer of 2015, and an offer in the region of 20 million euros could be needed to lure him away from his current club.
