The Belgian youngster insists the Spanish side have not come knocking and revealed that he used to idolize Zidane during the Frenchman's playing days
"I am only focused on having another great season with Lille," he told La Derniere Heure. "Neither Jose Mourinho, nor Zidane, have called me.
The Belgium international is widely expected to leave the Ligue 1 champions after stating last month that he was ready to make the next step in his career and move to a bigger club.
Madrid has been linked with a move for Hazard, with Zinedine Zidane, sporting director of the Liga giants, admitting that he is an admirer of the 20-year-old's qualities.
Hazard insists there have been no contacts with the Santiago Bernabeu outfit, but revealed he has long been a fan of Zidane.
"I would be proud to talk to Zidane, of whom I have always been a big fan since his two goals in the 1998 World Cup Final," said Hazard.
"Zidane was my favorite player, along with Thierry Henry, when he was at Arsenal."
