The diminutive striker will be leaving Camp Nou for Serie A after the two clubs finally agreed a transfer fee, which sees him join Luis Enrique in the Italian capital
A press conference will be held today to confirm the move, which has been anticipated all summer, and gained momentum with the appointment of former Barcelona player and B team coach Luis Enrique as the new boss at the Stadio Olimpico.
As well as agreeing an initial fee, the deal includes a clause that allows the Spanish giants to buy Bojan back for 13 million euros at the end of the 2012-13 season.
Should the Italian side wish to block the move and keep the the 20-year-old, the overall cost of the transfer would jump considerably to 40 million euros.
Bojan has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular under Pep Guardiola due to competition from the likes of David Villa, Pedro and Lionel Messi.
He had previously been linked with a move to Villarreal and Udinese but made it clear that if he were to leave, he would prefer to link up with Luis Enrique in Rome.
