The diminutive striker will be leaving Camp Nou for Serie A after the two clubs finally agreed a transfer fee, which sees him join Luis Enrique in the Italian capitalBarcelona has announced on its official website that the club has reached an agreement with Roma for the transfer of striker Bojan Krkic, for a fee of 12 million euros.
A press conference will be held today to confirm the move, which has been anticipated all summer, and gained momentum with the appointment of former Barcelona player and B team coach Luis Enrique as the new boss at the Stadio Olimpico.
As well as agreeing an initial fee, the deal includes a clause that allows the Spanish giants to buy Bojan back for 13 million euros at the end of the 2012-13 season.
Should the Italian side wish to block the move and keep the the 20-year-old, the overall cost of the transfer would jump considerably to 40 million euros.
Bojan has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular under Pep Guardiola due to competition from the likes of David Villa, Pedro and Lionel Messi.
He had previously been linked with a move to Villarreal and Udinese but made it clear that if he were to leave, he would prefer to link up with Luis Enrique in Rome.
