The El Tri keeper, who tested positive to a banned substance at the recent Gold Cup, is reportedly only hours away from securing a switch to the French capitalMexican goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa could sign for Paris Saint-Germain in a matter of hours, report Fox Sports and L'Equipe.
The America goalkeeper would arrive in France on a free transfer, and is slated to sign a deal that will earn him an annual salary of 1.5 million euros.
It is unknown if America will receive any type of compensation for the deal, as Bosman rules are not enforced in Mexico.
The goalkeeper's transfer has long been put off, with Ochoa travelling to London last December for a trial with Fulham, after which he could not come to a contractual agreement.
Dealings with Greek giants Olympiakos fell through earlier this month, and the move to PSG appeared to have been halted by Ochoa's positive clembuterol test at the start of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
Mexican media reported that Ochoa was in France last week, but the player's entourage dismissed the trip as anything related to PSG, saying that the player was only on vacation.
