Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted to French TV show Telefoot that Lille’s rising star Eden Hazard is a player that interests him.
The highly-rated 20-year-old has been attracting admiring glances from a whole host of admirers, and Hazard, despite his young age, is already an established Belgian international.
Wenger confessed that Hazard is most definitely a player that he is monitoring, but is not sure when the right time will arise for a transfer to become a possibility.
He remarked; “He is a player that I have followed for some time, but I do not want to destabilise Lille right now. When he is available for transfer, we will see if there is the possibility to sign him.”
The player himself recently stated that he has no particular preference over which club he would most like to join, saying: “There is not a big club that attracts me more than others. Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid all tempt me.”
