David Moyes: Everton Likely Priced Out Of Landon Donovan Move
Toffee's boss priced out of a move for MLS star.
By Grant Wilson
Everton manager David Moyes has admitted that he feels that any move for USA star Landon Donovan is unlikely.
Donovan, who helped the United States to the second round of the 2010 World Cup, had spent part of last season on loan at the Merseyside club from MLS side LA Galaxy, scoring three goals.
But now it seems that Moyes will have to look towards other potential signings to bolster his side before the start of the season, after being priced out of a move for Donovan.
Speaking after Everton beat Championship newcomers Norwich 3-1 at Carrow Road, Moyes said: "The price which the MLS would want would be big and that might be a problem."
