Agent: Initial Contact With Manchester City Has Just Been Made Over Inter's Maicon
Antonio Caliendo says he has not heard from the Eastlands club over the Brazil right-back.
By Rick D'Andrea
The agent of Inter right-back Maicon has told reporters Manchester City has just made inquiries over the Brazilian international.
City have been linked to the 28-year-old since the end of last season, but have only now decided to ask about the Brazilian.
"At the moment, I can say that Manchester City are interested in the player," Antonio Caliendo revealed to TMW. "Though, we are still at the start, with only initial contact being made."
Maicon has also been linked with a move to Real Madrid, where he would be joining former Inter boss Jose Mourinho, who moved after the Nerazzurri claimed a treble of trophies including the Champions League.
