Report: Man United Striker Macheda To Move To Spain On Loan
Manchester United youngster Frederico Macheda is going on-loan to Real Zaragoza, according to the News of the World.
Despite playing a key role in last season's push for the Premier League crown, Macheda has featured little this season for the Red Devils.
Sir Alex Ferguson is thought to be keen to tie up a loan move for the 18-year-old for the second half of the current campaign.
With Newcastle thought to be interested in signing the player on a temporary basis, Ferguson is more inclined to send out the player to the Spanish top-flight rather than the Championship.
Gerard Pique embarked on a similar path during his time at United before leaving for childhood club Barcelona.
