Despite reports to the contrary, Valencia have denied that Barcelona agreed a fee with them for David Villa. The Blaugrana have reportedly thrown their name in the hat for Daniel Guiza however, who seems set to leave Fenerbahce.

Martin Caceres could be leaving the Camp Nou; according to sources, the European champions are trying to offload the Uruguay international on loan to Juventus.

Finally, the USA's Confederations Cup hero, Jozy Altidore, is expected to complete a loan deal to Olympiakos imminently as the Greek champions continue their recruitment drive.
