Report: Chelsea Trying To Hijack Manchester City's Tevez Deal
Carlitos hasn't quite signed for City yet, and Carlo Ancelotti believes he can tempt him to Stamford Bridge.
Carlos Tevez appears to have all but signed for Manchester City, but Chelsea still retain some hope of signing him.
Tevez has been assumed to have virtually signed for City after his loan period at Manchester United, especially after he was reported to have enrolled his daughter at a local school.
According to The Daily Mail, however, new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has instructed his board to spare no expense in trying to convince the Argentine to change his mind. Like City, Chelsea have matched Kia Joorabchian's asking price, but Man City are able to offer Tevez a more lucrative contract.
However, Ancelotti is hoping the lure of Champions League football might persuade Tevez to change his mind at the last minute.
