Transfer Round-Up: Melo Merry-Go-Round
The Brazil international has livened up a quiet day in the market.

The weekend is generally quiet in terms of transfer deals and rumours; however Felipe Melo has arrived on the scene explosively today.
This morning brought news from the player's agent that a move from Fiorentina to Inter was possible as the Serie A champions became the first of three clubs to be linked with definitive bids for the Brazil midfielder.
Around noon, that was met with a counter-claim; quotes from the player's representative suggested that Melo would be happy to remain with La Viola should bids fail to materialise.
Then came further developments and further twists. Melo, according to reports, was on his way to Juventus after Fiorentina allegedly agreed to sell the player to the Bianconeri for €21m plus Marco Marchionni.
That preceded a story from within the club which suggested that a similar cash-plus-player deal had been agreed with Arsenal. The man going in the other direction was supposed to be Emmanuel Eboue.
The day concluded with quotes from Joe Rodriguez Baster, the player's agent, claiming that no negotiations were under way with any party regarding a deal for the highly-rated midfielder.
However, La Repubblica maintain that Felipe Melo will be a Juventus player imminently.
Got all that?
