Parke Leaves Anderlecht; Heads to RAEC Mons

After a failed trial with Anderlect, former Red Bulls player Jeff Parke has moved to RAEC Mons of the Juliper League.

Former New York Red Bulls player Jeff Parke has ended his trial with Belgian club Anderlecht and has moved to RAEC Mons of the Jupiler Pro League.

“He has left Anderlecht and will be training with Mons,” Anderlecht's press office, JP Kindermans told YA this morning. “We did not offer him a contract so his agent will have him training with Mons next week.”

He was selected by the Seattle Sounders in the 2009 MLS Expansion Draft back in November, but didn’t sign a contract with the club and his future in the league is yet to be decided.

Following his failed trial at Anderlect, Parke has moved on to RAEC Mons, and in so many ways has put an end to his MLS career that ended so controversially on a 10-game suspension.

Parke has spent his whole career with the Red Bulls franchise before being selected 60th and last overall in the 2004 MLS SuperDraft, and has played in 132 matches for the club.
