Goal.com's worldwide team of editors have voted the South American shot-stopper as the top performer in the win over Ghana.
The Goal.com editors have selected Uruguay goalkeeper Nestor Muslera as their Turkish Airlines Top of the Match. Muslera's ability to save two crucial spot-kicks during the penalty shoot-out gave him the nod over goalscorer and team-mate Diego Forlan.
The Lazio custodian denied Ghana captain John Mensah and Dominic Adiyah from helping the African nation progress to the semi-finals of the tournament, whilst securing the South American's passage to final four for the first time in 40 years.
He was also instrumental in keeping his side in the match, making crucial saves when the Black Stars threatened to score.
