Argentina midfielder Javier Pastore has shrugged off comments made by Germany's Bastian Schweinsteiger earlier on Wednesday as the build-up to their quarter-final clash in the World Cup intensifies.
Schweinsteiger had earlier blasted Argentina teams past and present when he remarked that they lack respect and try to influence referees when they play.
Pastore has now fired back at the 25-year-old's comments, saying Argentina are only out to play their style of football and entertain the masses in the process.
"He can say whatever he likes, but we think only to play and entertain the people who watch us," he said, according to CalcioNews24.
Argentina and Germany will lock horns in the quarter-finals on Saturday in Cape Town.
