thumbnail Hello,

The forward thinks that they will get accustomed to it in due time.

Paraguay hitman Roque Santa Cruz insists that the players will need more time to adjust to the new Adidas Jabulani ball.

Santa Cruz, who came off the bench in this evening's 1-1 draw against defending champions Italy, says he also is a fan of the much-maligned vuvuzelas.

"Italy didn't create that much and scored from a set piece," the Manchester City player told Goal.com after the match. "Both teams were even, and didn't create a lot of chances.

"It was a tough first match for us, and it is generally not easy to play against Italy.

"I love the footballing culture over here. It's very nice to experience it. It would be very weird to hear vuvuzelas in the Premier League. I already own one, as it was a gift to me.

"Everyone is complaining about the ball, but players like to complain about everything. I think that we need time to learn the intricacies of the ball," Santa Cruz concluded.
