World Cup 2010: South Africa Duo Siboniso Gaxa And Itumeleng Khune Look Forward To Uruguay Clash

Following their 1-1 draw with Mexico this afternoon, South Africa’s Siboniso Gaxa and Itumeleng Khune revealed they are already looking ahead to their next game with Uruguay.

“We want to thank the supporters for their efforts and for coming to show their support,” Siboniso Gaxa told

“Now we must focus on the next match against Uruguay and move forward.”

Goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, however, called for more support from the home fans in their next fixture, insisting he wanted to hear more of the already infamous Vuvuzelas.

“We didn't hear the Vuvuzelas the way we wanted to," he said.

“The fans were there for us but they needed to be more vocal during the match to help us out. Hopefully the next game will be a different story and we will hear even more vuvuzelas.”  

“It doesn't matter now as we are looking forward to Uruguay.
