Cuadrado in the dark over Barcelona rumors

The Liga giant is said to be desperate to bring the Colombia international to Camp Nou - but the versatile right-sided player says he has not yet spoken with the Catalans.
Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado has dismissed reports that he is on the verge of joining Barcelona.

It has been claimed the Blaugrana are close to finalizing a deal for the Colombia international but the in-demand 26-year-old insists he has not yet received a concrete offer from any club.

"I'm content and calm," he told Radio Blu. "Which league would I prefer to play in? I don't have preferences. Wherever I go, I will play my football. So far, there hasn't been any real deal. For the most part, it's just been rumors in the papers.

"I'm speaking with my agent and I'm in no rush to decide my future. We'll see what happens."

Fiorentina only acquired the remaining 50 percent of Cuadrado's ownership rights from Udinese last month but that has not stopped the pacy attacker being continually linked with a summer switch to Barca, which is said to be willing to pay the Viola 30 million euros for the player.

Cuadrado was in impressive form for Colombia at the World Cup as Jose Pekerman's side reached the quarterfinal stage prior to the 2-1 defeat to Brazil.
