Kobe Bryant wants Brazil-Argentina final

The Lakers star hopes to see the South American powers meet at the Maracana.

Kobe Bryant says he hopes Brazil and Argentina reach the final of the World Cup.

The five-time NBA champion, who has also tipped Germany to go far in the tournament, says that soccer is his favorite sport and has traveled to Brazil for the tournament.

"It's not easy to face Brazil in their own country,” the 35-year-old is quoted as saying by AS. “I'd like to see a final with both Brazil and Argentina in it. Germany also seem very strong this year and a really hard opponent to beat."

"From the age of 6 to 14 I played football. It's my favorite sport and I do not want to miss these great games, which is why I am here, in Brazil. I want to see the best teams and the best players here at the World Cup.”
