Eriksson sweating over hospital tests...Cote D'Ivoire coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has expressed deep concerns for Didier Drogba, confirming he suffered an elbow injury during the 2-0 win over Japan on Friday.
Drogba limped off the pitch following a clash with Marcus Tulio Tanaka on 15 minutes and was taken to hospital with a suspected elbow fracture.
And Eriksson is sweating over results as he fears his striker could be ruled out of the World Cup.
"It's an elbow injury but we don't know how bad it is, we are going straight to the hospital," said Eriksson after the game.
"I think we should get an answer before we leave.
"If it's serious, it's very worrying, he is our captain, one of the best strikers in the world."
Eriksson said he is severely worried that his man may endure the heartbreak of missing out in South Africa.
"Yes, I am worried. Of course I am," he concluded.
Cote D'Ivoire's World Cup chances are likely to be severly hampered if Drogba is ruled out of the tournament.
