Triesman Accuses FIFA
The former FA chairman alleges Jack Warner, Ricardo Teixeira, Nicolas Leoz and Worawi Makudi suggested incentives in exchange for a vote for England during World Cup 2018 bidding. Russia were eventually awarded the tournament while Qatar won the 2022 bid.

Chuck Not Chuckling
Chuck Blazer is still disgruntled with FIFA for not giving CONACAF four World Cup spots. Now the region will have to revisit its new World Cup qualifying structure to allow for only 3.5 slots. Blazer also talked about the FIFA presidential elections in his conference call about the Gold Cup.

FIFA-Ly Rich
FIFA boss Sepp Blatter has revealed the body made 1.2 billion dollars from the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The sum is double the profits from the 2006 competition in Germany. Blatter released the number as a teaser to the FIFA annual report that will be released next week.
