With a goal and four assists over two LA Galaxy wins, the MLS legend is in fine form entering the final months of his career.Landon Donovan does not look like a player whose career is winding down.
Although the LA Galaxy star's time on the field will end at some point in the next few months, Donovan has shown he still has plenty left to contribute by compiling three goals and five assists over his past four games.
After converting a penalty kick and setting up two tallies in a win over D.C. United on Wednesday, Donovan picked up two more assists in the Galaxy's victory against Chivas USA on Sunday. While Donovan created seven chances last week, no other player produced more than three.

Donovan is joined in Goal's MLS Team of the Week by Galaxy teammate Gyasi Zardes, who scored twice against Chivas to bring his season total to 12 goals. Omar Gonzalez completes the trio of LA representatives after he scored an athletic volley against United and anchored a back line that allowed one goal in two games.
Brad Davis makes the squad after recording two assists in the Houston Dynamo's win on the road against Sporting Kansas City. With a pair of impressive goals in a 2-0 triumph over Columbus, new Montreal Impact designated player Ignacio Piatti gets the nod as well.
New England Revolution midfielder Kelyn Rowe makes an appearance after smashing home a spectacular goal and notching a clever assist against Toronto. Completing our midfield is Seattle Sounders anchor Osvaldo Alonso, who completed 84 of 87 passes in a 1-0 win over Colorado.
Despite the losing effort, Rapids goalkeeper Joe Nasco is in the team thanks to a five-save performance in the 30-year-old's MLS debut. Real Salt Lake center back Chris Schuler makes the cut after racking up 11 clearances in a 1-1 draw at San Jose.
