The USA will host a friendly against Ecuador on Oct. 10 in East Hartford, Connecticut, for its first home game since advancing to the round of 16 in Brazil.
The match is added to a 2014 schedule that also features friendlies against the Czech Republic on Sept. 3 in Prague and versus Ireland on Nov. 18 in Dublin. A rumored match against Colombia in San Antonio on Sept. 9 has apparently been nixed.

"We are really excited to get our first chance to play at home after the World Cup," said U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann in a news release. "The support from our fans in the United States and everyone that traveled to Brazil was awesome, and we want to build on that energy. We have an exciting four years ahead of us, and this is just the beginning."
The Americans are 3-1-0 at Rentschler Field, most recently notching a 1-0 win there over Costa Rica during the 2013 Gold Cup. They have a 2-5-4 all-time record against Ecuador, which was eliminated during the group stage in Brazil after going 1-1-1.
