Emerson Hyndman made his professional debut on Saturday, as Fulham lost 2-1 at Ipswich Town in both teams' Championship opener.
The 18-year-old American went the full match at Portman Road, looking composed on the ball and impressing throughout while playing a central midfield role. Hyndman, a Texas native, joined the Fulham Academy in 2011, and has been rising through the ranks ever since, starring for the club’s Under-18 and U-21 sides in previous seasons.
He has also been a part of the United States youth national team setup at the U-17, U-18 and U-20 level.
