Terrence Boyd hits 20-goal mark for Rapid Vienna

The USA striker made it six goals in four games as he scored in his side's 5-2 win over Josko Ried.

If called upon, Terrence Boyd will head into the U.S. national team's pre-World Cup camp clicking on all cylinders.

The 23-year-old striker scored in the 71st minute of Rapid Vienna's 5-2 win over Josko Ried on Sunday, his sixth goal in the past four games. With the tally in second-place Rapid's season finale, Boyd reached the 20-goal mark in all competitions — 15 in the Austrian Bundesliga and five in the Europa League.

Boyd is competing with the likes of Aron Johannsson, Eddie Johnson, Chris Wondolowski and Juan Agudelo for reserve forward spots on the USA's World Cup roster, with coach Jurgen Klinsmann set to unveil his 30-man preliminary squad Monday.
