Dempsey makes loan debut for Fulham

The U.S. national team captain got in a full match on his return to action for Fulham, though the club could only manage a draw.
Clint Dempsey got a full game under his belt as he made his loan debut for Fulham in FA Cup action Saturday.

Dempsey was one of nine changes made by the Cottagers after their New Year's Day win over West Ham, with the American partnering Darren Bent up front.

Bent scored the opening goal for Fulham, giving his side a 1-0 lead in the first half, but Norwich managed to pull level before the break and neither side could find a winner in the second half.

Dempsey's chances on goal were limited as Fulham struggled to get accurate service into the box, but he did manage to set up a couple of decent chances for others and had a couple of shots of his own from distance.
